more dates and cities coming soon…
I hope that Portland, OR, will make the event list!
I hope that Seattle, WA will make the event list. Holler if I can help
Bleh, too bad I live all the way in San Francisco!
I have to work the evening of the Cambridge event. 😦 But I work at a bookstore, so all is not lost!
I hope…I hope…I hope…you make the WEST COAST! 😀
Los Angeles specifically. 😉
Please come to Minneapolis!
More midwest readings than just Chicago. Rape and assault are problem crimes in many smaller cities, particularly ones with colleges. I just got this book and after only reading a few pages of it, I feel it is beyond just important and empowering. Am spreading the word about it!
Portland, OR, would love to have you!
Yes, please, Portland Oregon! We’d be giddy even! I’m sure there are a bakers’ dozen of bookstores/venues that would love to host you.
Wow. There is a LOT of love in here from Portland, OR! We’re trying to work out the details of a SF trip as we speak, so maybe we’re just going to have to make Oregon happen, too – I’ve always wanted to visit!
I just heard about the book. Sorry to have missed you in Jan. are you planning to come back to Cambridge or Boston?
My friends and I would love it!
Thanks
I’m such a fan of the book… I was wondering if there is any possibility of organizing a book reading/signing event in Denver, CO– in conjunction with Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April.) The Tattered Cover is a fantastic, large independent book store, located near several Universities. It would make a great veenue. We’d love it if an event was possible!
Jaclyn,
How does Ames, Iowa (Iowa State University) sound fora visit in April 2010? We would love and desperately need to hear more about sexual assault from a woman! I would love to hear details about booking. Thank you!
I know it’s a long shot, but Hawaii would love to have you come speak! We could do some sort of surfing lesson/feminist dialog exchange.
Mahalo nui loa for your blog, it keeps the island fever at bay!
Mandazon, I just sent you an email – let’s see if we can figure something out!
Yes, please come to Los Angeles!
Oberlin College (Oberlin, OH) would love to have you! If you think you can work it into your schedule, I’d love to help you arrange something.
Sarah-
I’d love to come to Oberlin! I emailed you, but it bounced. Can you get in touch with me at jf at jaclynfriedman dot com so we can set something up?
Thanks for reaching out.
